WHO WE ARE
The St. Vincent de Paul Society is an international Catholic organization dedicated to helping families and individuals in their time of need. We are inspired by Gospel values and volunteer our time to serve others. Our services are available to all without regard to religion, race, gender, national origin, or legal status. On Vashon, we are affiliated with St. John Vianney Parish and work in partnership with the Interfaith Council to Prevent Homelessness (IFCH), Vashon Youth & Family Services, the DOVE Project, and Vashon Social Services Network.
SUPPORT OUR WORK
Your donations help us meet the essential human needs of our Vashon neighbors.
SVdP-Vashon is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization so donations are tax-deductible. Because we are unpaid volunteers, we can commit 98%of donations to helping our neighbors; the other 2% covers phone, bank, and online giving changes. SVdP-Vashon shares standards of service and accountability with the SVdP Seattle/King County and SVdP USA Councils.
